We are always Better Together
Children's Ministry

We love the littles here at Washington Nazarene! We have a Children's Church on the second and fourth Sunday each month that has a planned curriculum that our teachers have a passion to lead these precious little ones to Jesus. On the other weeks, we want to worship with them because we believe it is important they see mom and dad worship.
This program is led by Mrs. Lisa and Ms. Eliana as co-directors.
Our mission is to guide and teach children to grow in their knowledge of biblical truths, their understanding of God and His immeasurable love for His children, and in their development of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ!

Proverbs 22:6
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not tur from it.

TLC (Teens Loving Christ)
Mrs. Joni and Mr. Curtis lead our teens and have been married 14 years with 2 fur babies (a cat and a yorkie!).
They have a passion to reach the next generation for Jesus in an environment that produces disciples!

Our Mission is to help young people establish a lifelong commitment to Christ.
1 Timothy 4:12
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
Women's Ministry
Women's Ministry is where we look to get stronger together! We want to encourage women to lean on one another as we can strengthen, encourage and love one another as Christ does His people!

Men's Ministry
What can go wrong with men and some fire? Once a month we men like to get together and "burn some stuff." Proverbs tells us iron sharpens iron and that is kind of what we look to do with one another. Call and ask when and where our next meet is at!
Jail Ministry
This ministry is led by Dr. Potts and Pastor Darrell. Each person will spend an hour a week with an inmate for personal discipleship and biblical growth. We have the privilege to witness God work in the lives of these men (and hopefully look to add some women as well!). Those that volunteer their time will tell you they get more out of these meeting spiritually than they believe those on the other side of the glass.

Hebrews 13:3
Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.
